So, what is chakra meditation? Chakras are basically the energy centers of our bodies. If the chakras are blocked, our physical and mental wellbeing can be affected. Each chakra on a human body has its corresponding color visualization. This identifies it from other chakras. Examples are red and orange. Case in point is the root chakra which is red in color.
What are the different chakras? First, there is the red colored root chakra. It is found at the base of the spinal cord. You will be strong and secure if the root chakra is balanced. On the other hand, if this chakra is blocked, you will feel anxiety, fear and have a weak immune system. Second, we have the sacral chakra. It’s color is orange and it is found below the belly button. A balanced sacral chakra makes people feel happy, friendly and passionate. If it is blocked, sexual difficulties, low inspiration levels and emotional instability may be felt.
The solar plexus chakra is yellow in color and is located between the ribcage and the navel. Your productivity and energy will be high if this chakra is balanced. On the other hand, an imbalanced solar plexus chakra can cause insecurities, procrastinations, reduced energy levels and digestive problems. The heart chakra on the other hand is green. Love is the theme of this chakra that is located in the heart. A balanced heart chakra leads to ease of forming emotional connections, love bonds and spiritual awareness. Blocked heart chakra causes loneness and chest pains.
The chakra responsible for our communication is the throat chakra, which is located in the throat and is blue in color. Clarity in communication results from a balanced throat chakra. If it is imbalanced, social anxiety and tension while talking can arise. Located on the forehead, the third eye chakra is indigo in color. Our communication with the universe is good if it is balanced. The results of unbalanced third eye chakra are anxiety, depression and headaches.
Lastly, we have the crown chakra which is violet in color. Located at the top of the head, it needs to be balanced for you to be open minded for divine guidance. When blocked, you will have problems with the nervous system, be stressed and confused. Generally, it is good to have guided chakra meditation. With guidance, the results will be great. Go for beginner classes if you are starting meditation from scratch.
